The pupils of P3 were challenged to estimate then measure the capacity of three containers. They used eggcups as their non standard unit of measure. We all had lots of fun pouring eggcups full of water into each container and trying to record our results. At first the P3 pupils were very surprised at how little water an eggcup contained, but soon were able to provide estimates that were quite accurate.
