Finding All Possibilities

31st Jan 2018

We have been working on particular type of maths problem that is called finding all possibilities.

In this type of maths question the children are encouraged to think methodically through a range of possible solutions and to identify effective strategies to record their findings.

It isn’t all hard work though. In a problem based around scoops of ice cream we added a real life context by serving ice cream cones to the children. It’s good to have fun while we are learning!
