INSPECTION NEWS!

15th Nov 2018

Our school was visited by the Education and Training Inspectorate at the start of October 2018. This was a follow-up to the October 2016 inspection. The previous inspection experience for the school was not a positive one and the results were far from satisfactory.
Since the previous inspection there have been significant changes in the school and this is reflected in the inspector’s report from October 2018. The governors and I are delighted that the school has exited the formal intervention process following the inspection. There is no doubt that a great deal of work has been put in to make changes and I am delighted that this is shown in the report. In their feedback the inspectors noted their positive experiences with both staff and pupils and how impressed they were with the school.
This significant change would not have been possible without the dedication of the staff and the hard work of the pupils over the past few years.
The report is now available for you to read in the attached link. I hope that, like me, you can be very proud of our school and that you will continue to spread the word about the positive experiences that pupils have in our school. This report is not the end of our journey and we will continue to work hard for the benefit of our pupils.
Best wishes
Mr Young
