Our pupils sampled a delicious, freshly-cooked tikka mince today, thanks to Wendy from the Livestock and Meat Commission NI.
We learnt all about Farm Quality Assurance in Northern Ireland, developing a greater appreciation for the incredible job done by farmers in our community. Wendy also taught us about the Eatwell Plate and the importance of a balanced and healthy diet.
Thank you, Wendy. We think Tikka Mince will be on the menu in lots of homes this weekend!
