This week we have been learning about the Americal celebration of Thanksgiving and decided that we would like to experience it for ourselves. We each wrote personal invitations to the pupils of P1 and 2, inviting them to our thanksgiving party. We planned every detail of our party including the snacks, games and crafts. P3/4 created Thanks giving themed party bags to offer their guest.
Just as they do in America on Thanksgiving, we ate our meal together, shared what we were thankful for and played games.
We really enjoyed our first Thanksgiving with our speical guests.
