We found a recipe for a Victorian style oatcake and the P5, P6 and P7 pupils have measured out and mixed all the ingredients until their oatcake was as described by working Victorian children - thick and coarse. Most of us have tried it; some thought it was just fine, while others would rather go hungry :) We then recorded video diaries describing our little adventure.
